Nokia 9 display panel leaked in images, another mystery Nokia phone surfaces with triple rear camera
Alleged Images of the Nokia 9’s display panel suggests that it might sport really thin bezels all around the screen. Another set of leaked images hint at a Nokia handset with triple rear camera setup.
Key Highlights:
- Alleged images of the Nokia 9’s device panel have leaked online
- The phone might feature slim bezels all around the screen
- Another Nokia phone with a triple rear camera has also been spotted
HMD Global is rumoured to be working on a flagship Nokia 9 smartphone and it is speculated to come with a five-camera setup on the back. Some images of the phone’s front panel have leaked, hinting at greatly reduced bezels and no notch on the display. The images were posted by SlashLeaks, however, there are two images and while one reveals a thick chin and slight bezels all around, the other one is almost completely bezel-less with a notch. In a separate report, a couple of images of a new Nokia phone have leaked that reveal a rather interesting design with a three rear camera setup and an almost bezel-less design, again, without a notch.
Starting with the images posted by SlashLeaks, the display of the alleged Nokia 9 suggests that the upcoming device might feature a large screen without a notch. There is also a noticeable chin at the bottom and thin bezels on the side. On the top, there are cutouts for the front camera, the sensors and the earpiece. However, as mentioned above, the second image shows a completely different display panel where there’s almost no chin or bezels but the front camera, earpiece and sensor cutouts are the same as from the first image. Additionally, the Nokia logo can be seen on the top in both the images. While the trust score of the leak is 100 percent, we suggest you take the information with a pinch of salt.
Coming to the second leak, a completely new Nokia phone can be seen in the images. From the front, the phone somewhat looks like a notch-less Nokia 5.1 Plus. The front camera isn't anywhere to be seen either and it is speculated that the company might employ a slider or maybe a motorised setup for housing the front camera and the sensors. What’s more interesting is the shot of the device’s rear panel, which shows off three centrally placed, vertically aligned rear cameras. There is no fingerprint sensor either and the Weibo post where the images were leaked states that the mysterious Nokia phone might feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and run on the Snapdragon 855 SoC.
