Apple’s latest flagship smartphone, the iPhone X is slated for launch in India on November 3, however, a Reddit user has posted a short video showing off the device. The video was posted yesterday and is only 10 seconds long, but shows the front and rear of the device’s white variant. It also shows the iPhone X sporting a dynamic wallpaper which was not seen in Apple’s Keynote. A little later, the same user posted a slideshow which gives a peek at the device’s lock screen, home screen and glass back.
The Redditor claims that the video was posted in the San Jose area, right next to Cupertino. The iPhone X shown in the video is believed to belong to someone working at Apple. In the video, the device can be seen failing to scan the person’s face using Apple’s FaceID. Also seen is the lock icon on the lock screen shaking from left to right. In another post, the Redditor posted a photo slideshow which showed off the black variant of the iPhone X. The series of photos show the smartphone’s lockscreen, home screen and its glass back.
Apple’s iPhone X has not yet been approved by the FCC in the US without which the device cannot be sold in its home market. The smartphone is reportedly facing major production issues due to which it is said to be in short supply until 2018. The device sports a 5.8-inch OLED display and is powered by the Apple’s latest A11 Bionic processor. It also sports Face ID, which can unlock the phone as a user looks at it. The iPhone X will be available at a price of Rs 89,000 for its 64GB variant and at Rs 1.2 lakh for the 256GB version.
