Motorola India has introduced two new Android-based smartphones, Defy XT and Defy Mini. The new Defy smartphones are water-resistant and dustproof. They also come with Corning Gorilla Glass and larger battery. The Defy XT has been priced at Rs. 16,190, whilst the Defy Mini will be available for Rs. 11,490.
Motorola Defy XT
The Motorola Defy XT runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It has 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing VGA camera. The device has a 3.7-inch touch screen with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. Powered by a 1GHz processor, the Motorola Defy XT comes with 1,650, which is rated to deliver 9.5 hours of talktime and up to 20 days of standby time. For connectivity, the Defy XT supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and USB 2.0. The device comes pre-loaded with various Google apps such as Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube. The Motorola Defy Mini runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It has a 3.2-inch touch screen with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. The Defy Mini sports 3MP primary camera with LED flash and a front facing VGA camera. The device is powered by a 600 MHz processor and comes with 1,650 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 580 minutes of talktime on 2G and 540 minutes on 3G . On the connectivity front, the Defy Mini supports WI-FI 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0. Like the Defy XT, the Defy Mini comes pre-loaded with various Google apps.
