Moto G4 Plus launched at Rs. 13,499, Moto G4 to sell next month
Both devices feature 5.5-inch FHD displays, Snapdragon 617 SoCs and run Android Marshmallow v6.0.1
Motorola has launched the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones in India. The Moto G4 Plus is available in 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage variants, and will cost Rs. 13,499 and Rs. 14,999 respectively. The Moto G4 comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage, and will be available from next month. The price of the device is not yet released. Both the devices feature 5.5-inch Full HD displays and are powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core SoC. The devices also sport 3000mAh batteries with support for Turbo Charging and run Android Marshmallow v6.0.1. The devices will be available exclusively on Amazon.
The Moto G4 is equipped with 13MP and 5MP cameras, while the Moto G4 Plus features 16MP rear camera with laser and phase detection autofocus, along with a 5MP front camera. In addition, the Moto G4 Plus features a fingerprint sensor, which is absent on the standard Moto G4. Both devices also introduce new gestures such as swipe to dismiss and swipe to unlock. It should be noted that unlike the Moto G (3rd Gen) and the G Turbo, the two new devices are not waterproof.
