LG Q6 with 5.5-inch Full Vision display launched exclusively on Amazon India at Rs 14,990

LG Q6 is the second smartphone after company's flagship G6 to feature the Full Vision display. The handset sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and is available now via Amazon India.

LG has launched the Q6, its mid-range smartphone with a Full Vision display in India. The smartphone is exclusively available from Amazon India at Rs 14,999. The handset is the second device after the G6 to feature the new design language with thinner bezels and a display with taller aspect ratio.

LG had initially teased the launch for August 10 and hinted at the handset being priced at Rs 19,990 or lower. With Q6, LG is focusing entirely on the new design language that has minimal bezels surrounding the display and offers a more immersive experience than the traditional smartphone displays. The handset is built using 7000 series aluminium and comes with MIL-STD-810G certification. While LG announced three smartphones as part of its Q6 series in South Korea last month, the company is only bringing the mid-range Q6 here. The Q6 sports a 5.5-inch Full Vision display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The display offers a taller aspect ratio of 18:9 and the smartphone offers a screen-to-body ratio of 78 percent. LG is also offering a one-time free replacement of the display within six months to enhance the experience.

Under the hood, the LG Q6 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 platform, the chipset also powering Xiaomi's Redmi 4 smartphone. The Q6 offers 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and supports expandable storage up to 256GB via SD card slot. The Q6 sports a 13MP rear shooter with autofocus and LED flash while there is a 5MP front camera for 100-degree wide-angle selfies. In terms of connectivity, LG Q6 supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port. The Q6 skips on the fingerprint sensor and supports facial recognition for unlocking the device. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery and will be available in astro black, ice platinum and terra gold colour variants.Buy LG Q6 from Amazon at Rs 14999.
