Lava has officially introduced Shark 5G, yet another budget phone in the Indian market. Priced at around Rs 8,000, the device offers a premium-looking design along with a decent specifications set of features. The device will be competing with the Poco M7 5G, Redmi A4 5G, and the Redmi 14C in the segment. It will be available via the company’s official store starting May 23. It is available in two colours- Stellar Gold and Stellar Blue. Here’s everything including the Lava Shark 5G price, specifications, and features that you should know about.

Lava Shark 5G price in India and offers

The Lava Shark 5G is priced at Rs 7,999 in the Indian market and can be purchased via retail outlets and the Lava e-store. However, the brand has not announced any bank offers or introductory prices, given the price is already pretty affordable.

Lava Shark 5G specifications

The Lava Shark 5G comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 90hz refresh rate. It is powered by the 6nm fabricated UNISOC T765 chipset and is coupled with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM (excluding the 4GB of virtual memory) and 64GB UFS 2.2 storage (can be expanded to up to 512GB via microSD card). The device houses a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging (you will get a 10W charger in the box). The Shark 5G runs on Android 15.

As for the cameras, the device features a 13-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It also offers support for both SA and NSA 5G bands, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The device is also IP54 certified and offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and dual SIM support.

The smartphone offers a plastic built with a glossy finish. Some of you may also feel that the rear camera panel somewhat resembles the iPhone 16. However, it has a camera bump along with a flash on the right side.
