HTC One ME smartphone with MediaTek Helio X10 SoC launched in China

HTC One ME smartphone launched, features a 5.2 inch QHD display, MediaTek's latest Helio X10 processor and Android 5.0.

HTC has launched the HTC One ME Dual SIM smartphone in China. The company has not revealed the price of the device and whether the handset will be released globally.

HTC One ME smartphone is the first device with the 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 processor, which was launched during MWC 2015 in March. The SoC features eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz with 3GB of RAM. It has a 5.2 inch WQHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution display and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 UI on top. The smartphone comes with 32 GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card slot. The smartphone has a similar design as the One 9+ and has a 20 MP rear camera with BSI sensor and f/2.2 aperture. It also has a 4-UltraPixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor for additional security, ambient light sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope. The device comes with HTC Boomsound dual front speakers powered by Dolby Audio.

Connectivity wise the HTC One ME features dual-SIM support, 4G, NFC, Bluetooth, A-GPS, dual band Wi-Fi and Micro-USB 2.0. The HTC One ME Dual SIM will be available in Meteor Grey, Gold Sepia, and Rose Gold colors. It packs a 2840 mAh battery rated to deliver up to 23.3 hours of talk time and 598 hours of standby time on 3G networks.
Last month, HTC unveiled the J Butterfly which has a 5.2-inch Super LCD3 QHD display. It has a Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3 GB of RAM and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC's Sense 7 on top. It has 32 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card slot. The J Butterfly features a 20.2 MP DUO primary camera with 2160p video capture. It also has a 13 MP front camera for clicking self portraits. Connectivity options included in the smartphone are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and NFC support. It is backed by a 2,700 mAh battery with HTC's quick charging technology. The smartphone comes with HTC Boom Sound audio technology.
