The Google Pixel A-series has always been a great option for those who want Google’s software experience and camera features without paying flagship prices. Now, all eyes are on the Pixel 9a, which is expected to launch this month. While Google hasn’t officially confirmed the phone yet, multiple leaks have already revealed details about its specs and pricing. Here’s everything we know so far.
Google Pixel 9a design and display (Expected)
The Pixel 9a is expected to maintain the signature A-series design, featuring a compact body and a dual-camera setup on the back. When it comes to the display, the Pixel 9a is rumoured to have a 6.3-inch screen. It is expected to come in four colour options: Iris (Blue), Obsidian (Black), Peony (Pink), and Porcelain (White).

Powering the Pixel 9a will likely be Google’s Tensor G4 processor. The phone is also expected to feature the Titan M2 security chip for enhanced data protection. On the software front, it will likely run on Android 15 right out of the box.
For photography, the Pixel 9a is expected to sport a 48MP primary camera paired with a 13MP ultra-wide sensor on the back. The front camera is rumoured to be 13MP.
Lastly, the Pixel 9a is expected to pack a 5,100mAh battery that supports 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging.

Google Pixel 9a price in India and launch date (Expected)
As for pricing, the Pixel 9a is expected to start at $499 (roughly Rs 42,000) for the 128GB variant. In India, however, the price could be around Rs 50,000. According to leaks, the official announcement could take place on March 19, 2025, with sales beginning on March 26, 2025.
