Airtel is giving users in Noida and Karnataka the chance to purchase the new Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus under its new ‘iPhone for Life’ scheme. Under this scheme, users can pay a minimum of Rs. 19,990 or Rs. 30,792 for the 32GB iPhone 7 and 7 Plus respectively. The remaining amount will be paid by Bajaj Finance Limited. User’s can also purchase other storage variants of the smartphone and the prices are listed below. However, the catch is that users will have to stay subscribed to the ‘iPhone for Life’ plan for at least one year.

Those who avail this plan, will have to choose one of the three available plans, which are priced at Rs. 1,999, Rs. 2499, and Rs. 2,999. These offer 5GB, 10GB and 15GB of data per month respectively, along with free unlimited calling. Once the 12 months are over, users can choose to return the device and upgrade to the the next year’s iPhone.

If users of the scheme wish to discontinue the plan, they will have to foreclose the loan with Bajaj Finance Limited and carry a No Objection Certificate to any one of the Airtel stores in order to process their request. Faliure to complete the payments will result in an immediate deduction of the Balloon cost mentioned in the table above against each variant. Further, while users are under the plan, they cannot port their number to any other network or transfer their device to someone else. They also cannot migrate from a postpaid to a prepaid connection.
