The Unsticker.Me browser extension will hide stickers from your Facebook comments.
Facebook has just launched Stickers in comments, and now a new tool Unsticker.Me will help you get rid of your Facebook feed of stickers. The browser extension is available for both Firefox and Chrome.
Unsticker.me browser extension will replace Facebook stickers you might normally see with the word "sticker" in brackets in your feed. However, the tool leaves stickers intact in Facebook chats and messages. Unsticker.me creator and Pinterest software engineering intern Rodney Folz tweeted that he hates Facebook stickers and fun in general. He wrote on its official page, "If you hate stickers and fun, download this addon."
Facebook has added the new range of free sticker packs, including themed collections based on TV shows like Power Rangers and Adventure Time. Users can add stickers in posts on their time line, groups and event posts. The social networking giant had added the stickers to make Facebook more appealing to the younger demographic.
According to a new survey Facebook has been loosing its popularity among teenagers. Since April, Facebook has seen a decline of nearly 30 pc, with more teenagers turning to messaging apps like Twitter and Instagram. The survey called 'Taking Stock with Teens' was conducted by Piper Jaffray.
Facebook has received a lot of criticism recently regarding privacy issues. The social media site is now reportedly working on a standalone app for anonymity. According to reports it is also testing self-destructing posts that will allow users to schedule a post for deletion.
