NASA Artemis II: India timings
First and foremost, speaking of the launch timings for India, NASA has officially confirmed that they are planning to launch Artemis II on 1 April 2026. The timing shared by them indicated a 6:24 PM EDT takeoff, which translates to 3:54 AM IST on 2 April in India.
Though there are several factors that have to be kept in mind. Although NASA has given out the timing for the launch, they are still expecting a two-hour interval for the launch. That would indicate that the launch could take place somewhere between 3:54 AM and 5:54 AM, as per Indian time.
Not only that, but if, for some reason, the launch does not take place today, NASA has taken that into account as well. They’ve released a tentative launch timeline, as per which, there are other dates that have been made available for the launch. The takeoff can happen from 1 April to 6 April, and if further delays take place, there are other dates later in the month too.
NASA Artemis II: Why is it important?

NASA has announced that the mission will carry four astronauts, and the group will embark on a 10-day journey across the Moon. They’ve released the list of people going into the mission. You can check out the names of the astronauts, along with their position, below:
