The company said it has seen a sharp increase in fake accessories and devices being sold through both online and offline channels. Some listings even promote products and colour variants that were never officially launched by Nothing or its sub-brand CMF. Most of these listings feature unknown brand names and are claimed to be compatible with original products. They also have very few reviews and are priced significantly lower than authentic products.

The video has been released on Nothing India’s official YouTube channel and focuses on consumer safety. Evangelidis says that fake products may look like original devices at first glance. But they do not meet the company’s quality or safety standards. They are not tested through the company’s regular checks. Hence, they may not work properly and can even cause safety problems for buyers, degrading the overall experience for the users.

Nothing also clarified that the brand is closely working with the enforcement agencies across several cities to identify and stop such supply chains, and the recent Delhi operation is just a part of a wider effort to take action against sellers involved in counterfeit trade. Through the video, the company has also urged customers to stay alert and advised the buyers to check the seller details carefully prior to buying the devices to avoid buying the fake products. Furthermore, the buyers are also advised to report the deals that seem too good to be true.

According to IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker 2026, Nothing recorded over 45 per cent growth in 2025, emerging as the fastest-growing smartphone brand of the year.
