iOS 18.3 release date: Apple has finally introduced the much anticipated iOS 18.3 update for all eligible iPhones with new features and bug fixes. However, this is not the biggest update for Apple Intelligence lovers. The update has brought some key changes to the Notification summaries, including a fix for the calculator, which now repeats the last mathematical operation when you tap the equals sign again. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Apple iOS update.

The new iOS 18.3 update improves visual intelligence with Camera Control for all iPhone 16 models. Users will now be able to add events to their calendars simply by scanning posters or flyers. It can also recognize plants and animals with the feature.
Furthermore, users can manage notification summaries directly from the Lock Screen, and the updated style for summarized notifications now includes italicized text and a glyph to differentiate them. However, notification summaries for News & Entertainment apps are currently unavailable; however, users who opt-in will see them again once the feature becomes available.

The company has also added a fix to an issue where the keyboard might disappear during a typed Siri request and addresses a problem where audio playback continues until the song ends even after closing Apple Music.
iOS 18.3 supported devices
The iOS 18.3 can be downloaded on all the iPhones running on iOS 18 or later. It means iPhone 16 series, iPhone 15 series, iPhone 14 series, iPhone 13 series, iPhone 12 series, iPhone 11 series, iPhone XS and XS Max, iPhone XR and iPhone SE (2nd generation or later) are eligible for downloading the update.
Meanwhile, the iOS 18.4 update is expected to be a big update. Apple is reportedly going to add more enhancements to Siri including the Personal Context along with on-screen awareness. The new update will also bring new fresh emojis like a fingerprint, root vegetable, and more. Additionally, it will be bringing back the News Summary feature with all the issues fixed.
