Intel’s revamped graphics control panel teased, could be unveiled at GDC 2019
Intel has teased its refreshed graphics control panel in a short 13-second video and says it will be unveiled this month.

If you own a PC or a laptop, chances are that you have accessed the Intel Graphics Control Panel before. There is nothing much to talk about the interface since there are standard tools to control how the integrated graphics on a system behaves. However, the company is trying to generate excitement for the revamped version it is announcing this month with a short 13-second teaser that reveals the upcoming panel’s interface in bits and pieces. The video suggests a revamped control panel for Intel IGT and while not everything is showcased, it seems that the interface could be similar to Steam.
The control panel has definitely changed in aesthetics as one can spot bigger buttons and icons for listed games. On the upper left side are the standard options like Home, Display, Video, System, Support and Preferences. Intel is also expected to offer the currently available optimised setting option for an installed game based on the type of hardware the user has. However, it is most likely to be refreshed The company has also used the hashtag #JoinTheOdyssey, which is rumoured to be a hint towards the company’s upcoming discrete graphics solution.
Speaking of the upcoming GDC 2019 event, which will be held from March 18 to March 22, Google is also teasing an announcement at the event and is expected to showcase its game streaming service and possibly some new gaming hardware. The Mountain-View based company’s GDC event is slated to commence at 10 AM PDT (10:30 PM IST) on March 19.
