Apple is offering free AirPods or a Pencil with Macs and iPads, but there’s a catch

Apple has announced its Back to School offer on select MacBooks, iPads, iMacs and more. The tech giant is offering AirPods, an Apple Pencil, or any other eligible accessory worth up to Rs 27,900 for free or by paying a small top-up amount as part of the promotional offer. The sale is live on Apple Stores in India, Apple Store Online, and the Apple Store app from June 17 to September 30. Additionally, buyers will receive personalised assistance from Apple specialists in stores and online. 

Here’s everything to know about Apple’s ongoing Back to School offer 

Apple Back to School offer on MacBook and iPads 

As part of the ongoing offer at Apple Stores, only one iPad with a promotion and one Mac with a promotion are available to buyers per customer. Notably, this offer does not apply to the iPad Mini, iPad 10th Gen, Mac Mini, Mac Pro, Mac Studio, or refurbished models. Students can purchase a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro and grab a Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, Magic Keyboard, or AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation for free. However, with iPad Air or iPad Pro, students can only avail themselves of either Apple Pencil Pro or AirPods 4. 

Apple MacBook and iPads come with Apple Intelligence features. The devices are known for their productivity. Students can also access tools like Image Playground and Genmoji and utilise Writing Tools to enhance their writing.

Who can take advantage of the Apple Back to School offer? 

As mentioned by Apple, employees of any public or private educational institution in India are eligible for this offer. Additionally, students attending or accepted into a tertiary education institution or their parents can avail themselves of these offers.
