Coming into the finale, both teams brought a lot of energy and excitement in the room, especially with the crowd clearly split inside Bennett University. One half of the arena backed their home team, Godsify, with relentless chants, while the other stood firmly behind Rektt, turning every round win into a thunderous celebration. At the end of the tournament, Rektt fans were seen cheering and celebrating inside the arena.

Early on, Rektt took firm control of the grand finale, winning the first two matches in the Best of 5 series and moving one step closer to the trophy.

After winning the first match, the team carried that momentum straight into the second game with confidence and precision. Rektt built an early lead, racing ahead while Godsify struggled to settle into rhythm. Although Godsify attempted a comeback and managed to add a few crucial rounds, Rektt quickly shut the door. The second match ended in a convincing 13-4 scoreline, underlining their dominance on the server. With a 2-0 advantage in the series, Rektt now needed just one more map win to secure a clean sweep and walk away as champions.

And then came the third match and both teams gave their very best. The competition was intense with an early score of 4 wins each. But as the match progressed, Rektt started leading and ultimately marched to victory.

From BGMI chaos to Valorant precision: A fitting end to SKOAR’s biggest college stage

The Valorant finale brought the curtain down on India’s largest college esports tournament, the SKOAR! College Cup Delhi Edition. On Day 1, we saw 16 BGMI teams deliver a high intensity LAN showdown, where W2R walked away with the championship after consistent performances across matches. The momentum from that explosive finish carried into Day 2, but this time the focus shifted to the tactical depth of Valorant and two final teams battling it out.

With a total prize pool of worth Rs 30 lakh, the tournament was a reflection of how serious and structured college esports has become. The SKOAR! College Cup Delhi Edition brought professional stage setups, live casting and packed stands to give players a near pro experience.

As Team Rektt lifted the trophy and posed for photographs under falling confetti, one thing became clear- the SKOAR! College Cup is no longer just a campus tournament. It is a proving ground for the next generation of Indian esports talent.
