Rockstar Games has officially announced the pre-order date for the highly anticipated GTA 6. The developer also unveiled the game’s official cover art alongside the announcement, offering another glimpse of what players can expect from the next edition of the GTA series. The game is currently set to launch on November 19, 2026. Currently it will only be available for PlayStation and Xbox. While the release date and the pre-order dates have now been locked in, critical details such as the retail pricing still remain under wraps. Grand Theft Auto VI will launch exclusively on current-generation consoles. Here is a complete list of the eligible devices you can enjoy the game at:
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X
- Xbox Series S
Note: There is no PC version announced for the game at the time of writing.

GTA 6: Pre-order and launch date (Confirmed)
Rockstar Games recently confirmed that gamers across the world will be able to pre-order the upcoming GTA 6 starting June 25, 2026, and it will land in the Indian as well as the global market on November 19.
Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers.

The makers also confirmed that the game will be available through major digital shopfronts, including the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store. Not only that but some select physical retailers will also begin accepting bookings on the same day.

GTA 6 India pricing (expected)
While Rockstar Games has been tight-lipped about the price of the upcoming games, reports suggest that the game could land in the Indian market with the price tag of Rs 6,000. However, this estimated price is for the standard edition only. While it is expected to include most of the core content, players may need to pay extra to access other editions and their additional features. Do note that these prices are just based on the speculations, and the official pricing will only be available at the time of launch.
