Call of Duty: Mobile may add night vision goggles with the next seasonal update

A Reddit user has posted a series of images that seem to suggest the inclusion of night vision equipment

A few months ago, the developers did say that they were working on a Night Mode

It’s around this time where speculation about Call of Duty: Mobile’s next big update tends to gather momentum. While Activision hasn’t teased much about its next update, it seems like some data miners may have come across some clues about one of the features that we can expect in the next update, night vision goggles.

Reddit user u/Downtown_Equipment has posted a series of images that seem to suggest the inclusion of night vision equipment that can be toggled on or off. It should also be noted that a few months ago, the developers of the game did confirm that they were working on a night mode of sorts. The Reddit user also posted some images which seem to suggest that the mode will be playable on existing Multiplayer maps like Summit and Crash. It also alludes to the mode being made available in Battle Royale as well.

Call of Duty Mobile may soon be getting night vision goggles

While the developers may not have confirmed anything about Night Mode being added to the game next season. One can speculate that it might just be the right time to do so. In case players haven’t yet noticed, each of Call of Duty: Mobile’s Seasonal themes tie into the previous theme and there is a constant narrative in the form of a small comic. For those who aren’t aware, the current Season 11’s comic brings up an EMP attack that has disabled the electronics in the game world. As such, it would be pretty apt for the in-game maps to be dark and players being introduced to night vision goggles. Not only that, but one of the comic panels, shows one of the game’s characters, Captain Price, wearing a pair of night-vision goggles. Of course, All this is pure speculation and should be taken with a pinch of salt till the developers confirm anything.
