In the fourth season, Manju Devi, who had been serving as the village Pradhan, lost the election and Kranti Devi took over the position. Meanwhile, Abhishek Tripathi was managing his responsibilities as the village secretary while preparing for a better future. He focused on his studies and eventually cleared the CAT exam. In season 4, we also saw the growing bond between Abhishek and Rinki.

What to expect in Panchayat season 5
The upcoming season is expected to bring new challenges and opportunities for Abhishek. After successfully clearing the CAT exam, he may choose to leave Phulera for better opportunities. Just like the previous season, Panchayat season 5 will also stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. The new chapter is likely to feature returning cast members including Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Sanvikaa, Faisal Malik and Chandan Roy.
