Netflix has not announced an exact release date of One Piece season 3 yet. However, the streaming platform has confirmed that the new season will arrive sometime in 2027. While the gap between seasons may feel long for fans, the delay is understandable considering the scale of the show. The live-action adaptation relies heavily on large-scale sets and advanced visual effects, all of which require a lot of production time.

One Piece season 3 plot
Season 2 ends with Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates deciding to help Princess Vivi. Their journey then takes them to the desert kingdom of Alabasta, where major trouble is waiting for them. In One Piece season 3, a rebellion ‘threatens to tear the nation apart, fueled in secret by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the ruthless Sir Crocodile, and his underground syndicate Baroque Works, who seek to conquer Alabasta for themselves,’ the logline reads. ‘In a season defined by unbreakable bonds and impossible choices, the Straw Hats must face a brewing civil war and a powerful warlord to save Vivi’s kingdom before it crumbles into the sand.’
The new season is also confirmed to introduce new locations, new enemies, and some of the biggest challenges the crew has faced so far.
