The POCO X5 5G is a mid-range smartphone that offers a reliable processor without breaking the bank. Priced at ₹17,999 for the base 6 GB + 128 GB variant, the POCO X5 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor that handles everyday tasks with ease. However, this isn’t the best processor for hardcore mobile gamers but you can game on Low to Medium graphics in games such as BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile. The phone also comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The display’s peak brightness is rated at 1200 nits, which is on the higher side at this price. You also get a triple rear camera setup including a 48 MP primary lens, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP macro camera. Honestly, we’ve not really had good experiences with 2 MP macro cameras, so we don’t have high hopes for the macro lens on this phone as well. It comes with Android 12 out of the box, which is disappointing because it launched in 2023 and it doesn’t have Android 13.
