2. Type EPFOHO UAN ENG and send the SMS to 7738299899.
Note: The last three letters can be changed to receive details in other Indian languages.
Once you send the SMS, you’ll receive a message with PF details in reply shortly.

2. Check the PF balance online using a missed call
If you want to check your PF details using the missed call feature, then you can follow the easy steps below:
1. Head to your Phone app on your Android or iOS device.
2. Give a missed call to 9966044425 from your Aadhaar-registered mobile number.
3. The call will disconnect automatically.
Now, you’ll shortly receive an SMS with the details regarding your PF balance. The details usually contain content like the member ID, last contribution, and total balance.
Note: The UAN must be active and linked with a bank, Aadhaar, or PAN.
How to check EPF balance for exempted establishments?
Employees working in exempted establishments cannot check their PF balance on the EPFO portal, as their PF contributions are managed by a private or company-run trust. However, for such employees the PF balance details can be found on monthly salary slips.
