“The Forerunner series is our flagship series and is treasured fiercely by the avid runners. With the launch of Forerunner 945, we aim to add more thrill and adventure for the running community,” said Ali Rizvi, National Sales Manager at Garmin India, about the new model.

With the Forerunner 945, the company has also focused on user entertainment by adding onboard storage worth 1000 songs. The watch also lets you sync from music streaming services, like Spotify, adding to your overall experience on the go.
Just like any other advanced smartwatch, the Forerunner 945 monitors your daily performance and suggests personalised insights accordingly. It also tracks recovery time, aerobic and anaerobic training effect especially meant for runners. Additionally, the watch is capable of wrist-based heart tracking.
Garmin has added a built-in incident detection feature, which shares your location automatically with your chosen contacts. The same happens if a fall or hit is detected in the user.
The company claims that the watch delivers up to 2 weeks of battery life in smartwatch mode, up to 10 hours in GPS mode with music, 40 hours in GPS mode without music, and up to 60 hours in Ultratrac mode.
