ZTE Blade A2 Plus is priced at Rs 11,999 and offers 4GB RAM, 32GB storage
ZTE Blade A2 Plus, the newest entrant in the big battery smartphone space is now available for purchase on Flipkart. The handset was announced in India last week at Rs 11,999 and the e-commerce giant is offering attractive discount and exchange offers. The device is available with an exchange offer up to Rs 10,000 and additional Rs 1,000 off on regular exchange. The smartphone is available on EMI of Rs 582 per month and Axis Bank Buzz Credit Cards users get additional 5 percent discount.
To recall, the ZTE Blade A2 Plus sports a 5.5-inch full HD display upfront with 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood, there is an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 CPU coupled with Mali T860 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. The smartphone also supports expandable storage up to 32GB via the memory card slot. The 13MP rear shooter on the Blade A2 Plus supports PDAF, dual LED flash and full HD video recording. The front camera is capable of shooting 8MP still and it only offers fixed focus.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and houses a huge 5000mAh battery. The smartphone also supports fast charging which the company claims can top up the device "from zero to almost full in less than an hour." ZTE Blade A2 Plus is first of the 8 new smartphones the company plans to launch in India.
In our review, we noted that "ZTE Blade A2 Plus' battery life is indeed impressive, but both the Lenovo P2 and Asus Zenfone 3s Max can do better." At Rs 11,999, ZTE Blade A2 Plus will compete against the likes of Redmi Note 4, Honor 6X and Coolpad Cool 1.
