Sony launches the Xperia Z2 flagship smartphone for Rs.49,990
The latest flagship smartphone from Sony has been announced featuring the latest Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 5.2 inch full HD display. The smartphone comes bundled with a bunch of accessories including the new Sony SmartBand SWR10
Sony Mobiles has officially launched the Xperia Z2 smartphone in India which was revealed at the MWC 2014. The smartphone features the latest Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 3GB RAM, a 5.2 inch full HD IPS display, waterproof and dust proof certification, a 20.7MP camera with 4K video recording and a 3,200 mAh battery.
The smartphone follows the same omni-balance design with a metal frame in the middle and glass from and back finish. The premium design has been improved by new stereo speakers which are housed on the top and the bottom of the display. The display size is now a 5.2 inches although the overall size and dimensions of the smartphone are almost similar to the last year’s Xperia Z1. It will be available in three colours including Black, White and Purple.
The smartphone has been priced at Rs.49,990 and will come bundled with Sony’s new SmartBand SWR10 (limited period), a premium case, six months of accidental damage protection warranty, six movies downloadable from Xperia Lounge and Micheal Jackson’s new upcoming album Escape.
