An iPhone case that does more than just protect your device
SanDisk has released a new case for the Apple iPhone that will do more than just protect your device. Called the iXpand Memory Case, it comes with built in flash storage and connects to the device via the Lightning port. The case is available in 32GB, 64GB and 126GB variants, that are priced at $59.99, $99.99 and $129.99 respectively. The case itself features a hard plastic outside with a soft rubber inside that helps to protect the phone.
The SanDisk iXpand Memory Case also has a companion app that allows the user to access and manage content stored in the case. Further, the app will also automatically organize and arrange all content into photos, videos, and music. Users can also choose to automatically transfer all photos and videos directly to the case.
The case seems like a good option for users, especially for those with the 16GB variant of the phone. However, the case is only compatible with the iPhone 6 and the 6s, so those with the Plus variants or an older version are out of luck. And if that wasn’t enough, buyers can also opt for a 1900mAh battery pack that can be attached to the case and it will extend the battery life of your device. Hopefully, SanDisk will make cases for other variants of the iPhone soon.
