The Galaxy S26 lineup could include three new models: the Galaxy S26 Pro, S26 Edge, and S26 Ultra.
For a long time now, there have been several leaks and rumours about the Samsung Galaxy S26 series. Well, according to a new report, Samsung might be planning a big change for its upcoming Galaxy S26 smartphone lineup. The tech giant could skip the standard Galaxy S26 model and instead introduce three new models: the Galaxy S26 Pro, S26 Edge, and S26 Ultra.
SurveyIn an internal One UI 8 build, Android Authority found references to three devices with codenames: M1, M2 and M3. These are believed to be the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
This means that the usual base Galaxy S26 model may not be part of the lineup at all. This change hints at a new strategy from Samsung. By using names like “Pro” and “Edge” instead of “base” and “Plus,” the brand could be trying to present a more premium image for its flagship phones.

It also raises the possibility of a price increase, since the “Pro” label often comes with better specs and higher costs. Samsung has not officially confirmed any of these details, and things could still change before the phones are launched.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G’s renders recently surfaced online, suggesting a significant change in the rear camera module. The renders show a raised camera bump for housing three of the four sensors. This would mark a major shift for the Galaxy S Ultra series, which has stuck to individual camera cutouts for the past four generations instead of using an island-style layout.
