Russian leakster, Eldar Murtazin claims that the battery would be enough to last with 20.5 hours of video playback at maximum brightness.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone may feature a 3600mAh battery, according to Russian leakster, Eldar Murtazin. He also notes that this battery would be enough for 20.5 hours of video playback at maximum brightness. This would be a pretty impressive feature, considering that the phone is rumoured to come with a large, 5.7-inch QHD display. A 3600mAh battery is already being used in the company’s other flagship device, the Galaxy S7 Edge. However, previous reports have suggested that Samsung may use a 4200mAh battery on the device.
A few days back, Evan Blass, aka @evleaks had tipped the device to sport a 12MP Dual Pixel camera at the back, along with a 5MP front camera. He also noted that the phone may offer 64GB of storage along with IP68 certification. Further, Blass claimed that the Galaxy Note 7 would feature an Iris scanner. Previous reports had suggested that the scanner would be manufactured by camera-maker, Patron. Blass didn’t mention the processor or the RAM available on the phone, but it is speculated that the device may feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, along with 8GB of RAM. Samsung is expected to unveil its new flagship device at an event on August 2.
