The Redmi Note 17 5G sports a 7-inch TrueColour AMOLED panel with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The device offers HydroTouch 2.0 for wet-finger responsiveness, and TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light and PWM dimming. Under the hood, the device features a 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, up to 8GB RAM and expandable storage of up to 2TB.
The device comes with an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, supported by 45W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. On the software side, the phone ships with Android 16 layered under HyperOS 3, and Xiaomi has committed to four years of OS updates and six years of security patches.
Speaking of the cameras, the device offers a 50MP AI camera with 2x in-sensor zoom, Night Mode and AI-based HDR and scene detection, alongside an 8MP front-facing sensor.
Additional features include Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, IP65 water and dust resistance, dual stereo speakers.

The device will be on sale starting August 12 and will be available on Xiaomi’s e-store, retail channels and Amazon.
