After teasing the launch of the next F-series smartphone, Oppo has confirmed that the Oppo F15 will launch in India on January 16. As the name suggests, the Oppo F15 will succeed the F11 Pro. The latter two were launched in March 2019. The company says the Oppo F15 will be lightweight and fashionable. The smartphone is all set to debut with a quad rear camera setup and VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 fast charging support.

Oppo F15 specifications

The display size of Oppo F15 is not known yet, but we expect it to be revealed as we close in on the launch date. It is rumoured to feature a pop-up selfie camera that could result in a notch-less AMOLED display. The smartphone will sport a quad rear camera setup that is touted to capture “high-quality pictures.” The primary sensor is said to be of 48MP.

Further, the smartphone is touted to provide consumers with two hours of talk time in five minutes of charge. It will support VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology. The smartphone will also come equipped with an in-display fingerprint 3.0 sensor that is said to let users unlock the screen in 0.32 seconds.

Generally, the Oppo F-series is focused on selfies so we can expect a powerful front camera hardware on the Oppo F15. Moreover, the teaser image shared by Oppo shows a curved metallic frame running around the phone with a shiny finish. Furthermore, the rear camera module is shown to be elongated. Hence, Oppo F15 could house its rear cameras in a vertically-aligned lens array.

Oppo F15 will have a thickness of 7.9mm. It will weigh 172 grams. Moreover, the design will offer a laser light reflection back cover. The smartphone is expected to come with 8GB RAM.
