In May 2025, Rockstar surprised everyone by releasing the second official trailer of GTA 6 without any prior notice. GTA 6 story and gameplay
GTA 6 will center around two main characters: Jason and Lucia. According to Rockstar, “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
GTA 6 characters
Apart from Jason and Lucia, GTA 6 will feature several new characters. Confirmed characters include Boobie Ike, Brian Heder, Cal Hampton, Dre’Quan Priest, Raul Bautista and Real Dimez.

GTA 6 map and setting
GTA 6 will bring players back to the lively streets of Vice City, a fan-favourite location. According to Rockstar, it will be “the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”

Reports suggest that the much-awaited third trailer of GTA 6 could arrive around December 2025.

GTA 6 is set to release on May 26, 2026. In India, the standard edition is expected to be priced at Rs 5,999, while special editions may cost Rs 7,299 or more.
GTA 6 expected system requirements
Leaked details suggest players may need at least an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, a GTX 1080 Ti or Radeon RX 5700 XT, 8GB RAM, and about 150GB of free storage.
