It also fixes issues related to display and audio.

OnePlus has rolled out the OxygenOS 9.5.4 update for the OnePlus 7 Pro. The update brings with it improvements in the camera of the smartphone. The update also fixes other issues related to display and audio. This update is rolling out now, and since it is a staged rollout, it might take some time for some device to receive it. According to XDADevelopers, the update is rolling out as the OxygenOS 9.5.4 in India and other markets, but in Europe, it is being released as OxygenOS 9.5.5.

The update brings improved image quality in HDR scenarios as well as in the low light conditions. It also claims to fix white balance issue and focus issue in several scenarios. The OnePlus 7 Pro has got 111 overall DxOMark photo score. Further, the system-related update brings optimization to “Double Tap to Wake” and “Ambient Display.” The update also brings fixes to an issue that caused an audio delay with the Bluetooth headset when playing games.

The announcement of this update was made last week. It suggested that OnePlus was looking to improve the imaging quality of its phones after early buyers of the handset shared mixed viewpoints on the images clicked from the phone’s camera. In fact, we also highlighted the phone’s average camera performance in our review stating, “the not-so-surprising performance of the OnePlus 7 Pro camera proves the company still has a long way to go to become the premium device it once dreamed of making obsolete.”

The OnePlus 7 Pro is equipped with a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor, which is paired with an f/1.6 aperture lens with a custom-made 7-element plastic lens. This sensor is supplemented by an 8MP telephoto lens that offers 3X zoom (Mystry of the OnePlus 7 Pro 3x optical zoom). It is coupled with an f/2.4 aperture lens. There’s also a third 16MP ultra-wide lens, which is paired with an f/2.2 aperture lens with a 117-degree field of view.

The first OTA update for the OnePlus 7 Pro was rolled out a couple of days after the phone launch, and it brought a feature called DC dimming. The new feature automatically adjusts the phone’s display brightness as per the ambient environment.
