Real Kashmir Football Club is an 8-episode sports drama series streaming on SonyLiv. Journalist Sohail Mir (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) resigns from his job, disillusioned by sensationalized news. He dreams of creating Kashmir’s first professional football club to empower local youth and offer them purpose beyond unrest. He pairs with childhood friend Mustafa Durrani (Mu’azzam Bhat), now a part-time coach, and convinces returning entrepreneur Shirish Kemmu (Manav Kaul) to fund the initiative.
Facing a lack of resources, infrastructure, and federation support, the trio holds makeshift tryouts recruiting players from diverse backgrounds, including a butcher, an insurance worker, and a student.
They also hire Scottish coach Douglas Gordon to improve their chances in competitive matches.
