Nothing Phone 3
After a nearly two-year gap since the last flagship, the Nothing Phone 3 is set to make its debut in the global market, including India, on July 1. The UK-based smartphone company has officially confirmed the launch. While the Nothing Phone 3 is still a couple of weeks away from its official launch, the company has been giving sneak peeks into the device to keep the hype up. In a recent update, Nothing has announced that the Phone 3 will be manufactured locally in India at its Chennai facility. The brand has also said to strengthen its post-sales support network across India.
Earlier at the Android Show by Google, CEO Carl Pei said that the upcoming Phone 3 will be the company’s first “true flagship,” with a premium design, artificial intelligence features, and better performance. Recently leaked images of the upcoming phone suggest that the brand will likely ditch its signature Glyph Interface and instead introduce a dot-matrix display similar to the one seen on the Asus ROG phones. However, it may retain the transparent design.
Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming Nothing Phone 3.
The Nothing Phone 3 will be unveiled in India on July 1. The event will be live-streamed via YouTube and the company’s social media handles at 10:30 PM IST.
While the hardware details have been kept under wraps, rumours suggest that the Nothing Phone 3 may ship with a 6.7-inch flat AMOLED LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. Under the hood, the device could come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Additionally, it may pack up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
For optics, the Nothing Phone 3 is tipped to house a triple 50MP setup on the back, including a telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. On the front, it could house a 32MP selfie shooter.
Other leaked details include a 5,000mAh battery with support for 50W fast wired charging and 25W wireless charging. Furthermore, the device could run on Android 16-based custom UI out of the box.

Carl Pei has previously teased that the upcoming Nothing Phone 3 will be priced around £800 in the UK, which translates to approximately Rs 80,000. However, it remains unclear whether that was a satire or a marketing ploy. In India, the phone is likely to carry a price tag between Rs 55,000 and Rs 60,000.
