Nothing Phone 3 launch timeline confirmed: Camera, features, design and more details
Nothing is reportedly preparing to bring the Phone 3 to market with some notable upgrades.
We can expect a possible focus on AI features.
It is rumoured to feature a 50-megapixel triple rear setup with a 3x periscope telephoto camera.
While rumours about the upcoming CMF Phone 2 Pro are going around in full swing, Nothing has now also confirmed the launch timeline of its next flagship, Nothing Phone 3. Founder Carl Pei himself revealed the launch timeline during a 10-minute Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on X (formerly Twitter). The Phone 3 will follow the launch of the more affordable Phone 2a and Phone 2a Plus models, which arrived earlier this year.
If rumours are to be believed, Nothing is preparing to bring the Phone 3 to market with some notable upgrades. As is the industry norm right now, we can expect a possible focus on AI features and the brand’s signature transparent design with Glyph lighting.
Nothing Phone 3 Launch (Expected)
Carl Pei has confirmed that the Nothing Phone 3 will launch in Q3 2025, sometime between July and September. This follows the company’s usual release cycle, with the Nothing Phone 1 launching in July 2022 and the Phone 2 arriving in July 2023. The Phone 3 was expected last year, but Pei said the team chose to focus on developing more personalised AI experiences before launching another flagship.
Expected Specifications
With the entire focus on the CMF Phone 2 Pro right now, Nothing has given out much about the Phone 3 yet. However, rumours and leaks are circulating heavily online.
The Nothing Phone 3 is likely to sport a 6.77-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. We can also get up to 1600 nits of brightness in high brightness mode and a peak brightness of 3000 nits,.
In terms of cameras, the upcoming device is rumoured to feature a 50-megapixel triple rear setup, which could include a primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto camera. On the front, it might offer a 50-megapixel selfie camera. For battery, the Phone 3 can pack a 5300mAh battery with support for 50W fast charging and 20W wireless charging.
And lastly, if we talk about its pricing, it is expected to come with a price tag of around Rs 45,000 in India.
