LG plans to launch 4 new budget smartphones at MWC
HIGHLIGHTS

With the budget segment of smartphones really filling up, LG is now apparently planning to launch four budget smartphones

After announcing the LG G Flex 2 at CES, LG is now rumoured to be planning to launch four new budget smartphones at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC), namely the LG Magna, LG Spirit, LG Leon, and LG Joy. All four of them will come in 3G and 4G LTE variants.

The Magna and Spirit may come with slightly curved displays for better grip. The Magna will have a 5-inch display and the Spirit will have a 4.7-inch display and both of them will run on a 1.2Ghz or a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor, and will sport an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The other two handsets, Leon and Joy, will come with 4.5-inch and 4-inch screens, respectively, and slightly lower-end specs than the Magna and Spirit.

The Magna, Spirit and Leon will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box while the Joy will come with KitKat. The handsets will be launched in Brazil this month and the rest of the world can expect the devices at a later date.
