Lava's new smartphone features 4.7-inch display, quad-core processor, 13MP camera and 2000 mAh battery.
Lava Mobile has introduced a new Android smartphone called the Iris Pro 30+. Priced at Rs. 11,990, the new Lava smartphone is an upgraded version of the Iris Pro 30 launched earlier this year.
Lava touts the Pro 30+ as one of the slimmest phones as it has just 7.9 mm thickness, and weighs just 116 grams. The smartphone has a 4.7-inch 720p OGS display. The smartphone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 13MP auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash and BSI-II sensor and 3MP front-facing camera. The smartphone has 16GB internal storage.
Connectivity options include EDGE, GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB. The Pro 30+ is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery. The smartphone is available for sale across all national retail stores and multi-brand outlets across India. It is available online exclusively via Amazon.in bundled with a free 16GB memory card.

Lava's new smartphone will compete against a range of budget Android smartphones. Of late we've seen quite a few smartphone makers targeting the 10k and sub-10k segments with high spec'd smartphones. Recently, Karbonn launched its Titanium S19, touted as a selfi smartphone, featuring 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, dual-SIM connectivity and 5-inch 720p display.
