Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra, quad-core smartphone launched at Rs. 6,999

The budget smartphone segment, especially the under Rs. 10,000, continues to get crowded.

Karbonn has launched a new budget Android smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 6,999, the new Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra is exclusively available via eBay.

The Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra has a 5-inch qHD display. It runs Android 4.4 and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone sports an 8MP camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera.

The Titanium S5 Ultra has 4GB internal storage, supports microSD slot for additional storage. Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Karbonn's new smartphone will be competing against a range of Android smartphones under Rs. 10,000. The Motorola Moto E and Asus Zenfone 4 are likely to be the closest competitor. However, the new Android One phones are also expected to make the competition tougher in this segment.
