Florida vibes in your gaming hall? Microsoft announces alligator-shaped Xbox Series X-Bite before GTA 6

Microsoft is giving away the one-of-a-kind console through a social media contest on X, Instagram and TikTok.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch on November 19, with pre-loads set to begin on November 10. Before the game arrives and takes you to a wildlife trail, Microsoft is set to sprinkle some Florida vibes to your gaming setup. The company introduced Xbox Series X-Bite as its ‘wildest console ever’. The tech giant said the idea was to mimic a scenario where “an alligator swallowed an Xbox Series X”, and it still works. However, the catch is that the company is only making one Xbox Series X-Bite, which can be won as a prize and not purchased.

Xbox Series X-Bite: Details
The Xbox Series X-Bite measures over five feet from the alligator’s snout to tail, while the main machine sits inside the stomach of the crafted reptile.. An “illuminated Xbox Nexus” and the bulge in the tummy mimic the shape of the Xbox Series X, hinting at the placement of the gaming console. The offering also ships with a custom Xbox wireless controller that gets bite marks and can be placed between the alligator’s jaws.
The “Xbox-green irises and Nexus-inspired pupils” further complement the attention to detail of the custom version. John Nolan Studio, specialising in creature animatronics, crafted the Xbox Series X-Bite using 3D modelling, fabrication and sculpting. Since only one unit of the special edition exists, here is how you can participate in the contest to win it.
Xbox Series X-Bite: How to participate?
Microsoft details that users can enter the contest via social media platforms X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and TikTok in three steps.
The first step includes following Xbox’s handle (@Xbox) on any of the above-stated online platforms. The next step involves reposting the Xbox sweepstakes post and manually adding the “#XbiteSweepstakes” hashtag in the repost.

Microsoft notes that users should keep their account public so that the entry can be viewed. The winner will have a 48-hour window to claim the prize. The contest will run until 11:59 PM PT on November 10, 2026. The Xbox blog notes that the contest is only open to “legal residents of the 50 US and DC” aged 18 and over.
Meanwhile, coming to GTA 6, Rockstar Games has confirmed the game size and pre-loading dates. The game will have a file size of up to 212GB and pre-loading set for November 10. You can read more on this here.
