Almost two weeks after launching its P series phones in Paris, Huawei has launched its biggest camera-centric flagship to date in India. The Huawei P30 Pro price in India stands at Rs 71,990 and unlike its global counterpart, the company has launched the phone in only 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant in India. The Chinese tech giant has also launched the Huawei P30 Lite priced starting at Rs 19,990. It is a watered down version of the flagship and will be available in two variants: 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.  

Huawei P30 Pro and Huawei P30 Lite price, availability and offers:

The Huawei P30 Pro is priced at Rs 71,990 and will be available from April 26, on Amazon India and Croma. Amazon is giving Prime members early access to the phone on April 15. Those who purchase the P30 Pro can buy the Huawei Watch GT worth Rs 15,990 by paying just Rs 2,000. The company is also offering a 6-month (from April 15 to September 21) free screen protection plan worth Rs 20,000. Customers can also avail a cashback of 5 percent on P30 Pro, between April 15 and April 17. Customers can pre-book the phone at Croma stores starting today and the device will go for sale on the April 19.

Meanwhile, the Huawei P30 Lite will be available on Amazon.in starting April 25 for Prime members and April 26 for regular customers. The P30 Lite will be available in two variants: the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 19,990, and customers can buy the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant for Rs 22,990. The phone is launched in two colours: Midnight black and Peacock Blue. The P30 Lite will be available in 120 Croma stores starting early next month.  

For Jio customers, the company is offering Rs 2,200 cashback and Double Data for five recharges and worth Rs 10,000 benefits. Additionally, customers can avail benefits worth Rs 7,800 (can include Make My Trip Coupons worth Rs 5600 and Zoom Car Voucher worth Rs 2200) on the Huawei P30 Pro. The phone will be available in Breathing Crystal and Aurora colours.

Huawei P30 Pro specifications:

The Huawei P30 Pro features a 6.47-inch Full HD+ Curved OLED display (DCI-P3 HDR) offering a 2340x1080 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone features Acoustic Display Technology, that is, it has an in-screen maglev speaker for earpiece audio. The phone runs EMUI 9.1 atop Android 9 Pie. The IP68 rated P30 Pro is powered by a 7nm Kirin 980 processor and a graphene film cooling system to keep the device temperature in check. The Huawei P30 Pro comes with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, claimed to be 30 percent faster than the previous generation. The handset ships with 4,200mAh battery, has reverse wireless charging tech, and supports 40W fast charging as well as 15W wireless charging.

The USP of the phone is the camera and comes with a Leica Quad-camera setup which consists of a 40MP main camera with lens having f1.6 aperture, a 20MP ultra-wide angle camera with lens having f2.2 aperture, an 8MP telephoto camera with 5X Telephoto lens (f3.4 aperture) and a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor. On the front is a 32MP front camera with AI HDR+. Huawei claims that the camera has 1/1.7-inch Huawei SuperSpectrum Sensor with a RYYB Bayer filter which is claimed to capture 40 percent more light. The Huawei SuperZoom Lens supports 3X optical zoom, 5X hybrid zoom and 50X times digital zoom on the P30-Series phones. There is a prism element in the telephoto camera that bends light at a right angle and sends it to a cluster of lenses to achieve variant focal length.

Huawei P30 Lite specifications:

Huawei P30 Lite has a HiSilicon Kirin 710 Soc under the hood and runs EMUI 9.0 on Android 9 Pie. The phone comes with a triple camera setup consisting of a 24MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture (wide), an 8MP (ultrawide) sensor and a 2MP depth sensor with lens having f/2.4 aperture. On the front is a 32MP sensor with a lens offering f/2.0 aperture. The phone sports a Full HD 6.15-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch, and offers 1080 x 2312 pixels resolution. The phone draws power from a 3340 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
