Huawei Mate 10 specs leaked in promotional poster, confirms display size and battery

Huawei is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the Huawei Mate 10 on October 16. A few days ahead of the launch, an image of Mate 10’s promotional poster has surfaced online. Although, much was already known about the device, thanks to numerous leaks, the image posted by mydrivers reveals some changes in key specifications of the smartphone.

According to the promotional poster, the Huawei Mate 10 will sport a 6.2-inch 18:9 display with a 2160 x 1080 resolution. Previously, the device was expected to feature a smaller 5.9-inch display. The company had already confirmed that the Mate 10 will be using its latest Kirin 970 processor, which features an AI onboard and the poster confirms it.

In terms of camera, the smartphone was rumoured to sport a 20MP + 13MP dual rear camera setup, but the leaked specs suggest otherwise. Going by the poster, the Mate 10 will be equipped with a LEICA branded 20MP + 23MP dual-camera setup. It is also expected to be powered by a 4000mAh battery, previously a slightly larger 4200mAh was speculated.

The promotional poster was released in China and the above leaked specs are still rumoured until the company actually officially announces the smartphone. Huawei is also launching its Honor branded 7X smartphone at an event on October 11.

The Honor 7X is the expected successor to the company’s previous year Honor 6X mobile phone. The device was recently spotted on Geekbench and is rumoured to be powered by a 1.71 Ghz Kirin 659 Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The Honor 7X is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display and run on Emotion UI 5.1 on top of Android Nougat. It is also tipped to sport a 12MP dual rear camera setup. The device can be priced between 1,500 Yuan (Rs 15,000 approx) and 1,800 Yuan (Rs 18,000 approx) when it goes on sale.
