Samsung launches Android 4.4 based Galaxy S III Neo in Germany

The new Samsung Galaxy SIII Neo variant features a Android 4.4 Kitkat and a 1.4GHz processor with 1.5GB of RAM.

Samsung has launched a variant of its Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo GT-I9300, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo (GT-I9301) in Europe with Android 4.4 KitKat OS and 1.5 GB RAM.

The new Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo has a 4.8-inch super AMOLED display with a 1280×720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz processor coupled with 1.5GB RAM. Storage-wise the Galaxy S3 Neo comes with 16GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot. It has an 8MP rear camera and a 1.9MP front camera for video chatting. The device packs a 2,100mAh battery. The Galaxy SIII Neo runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with TouchWiz UX on top. Samsung's KNOX security feature is available too.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo (GT-I9301) was spotted on the company's German website for €270 in blue and white color variants. There’s no word if the smartphone will be launched globally.

Samsung is reportedly testing a 4G version of its Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini in India according to the maktechblog report. The report says "Samsung has imported 500 units of Galaxy S4 mini for Sales and Testing purpose." This clearly shows that Samsung is testing units for sales purposes. Samsung will launch the units in India after testing them thoroughly. The import price is around Rs 17,760. The Galaxy S4 mini is currently retailing in India for Rs 16,800, so it may priced higher than normal 3G version.” Samsung has launched the S4 Mini with LTE support for Rs. 17,760, while the current S4 Mini is available for Rs 16,798.
