This summer promises new hardware for PC gamers from the house of Dell as the company just launched the Alienware Area-51m, Alienware m15, and Dell G7 in India. While Dell claims that the Alienware m15 is the thinnest and lightest 15-inch Alienware laptop ever made, it calls the Alienware Area-51m the first true desktop replacement. All three models will go on sale from March 18 on Dell India’s official website.

Alienware Area-51m

First showcased at this year’s CES in Las Vegas, the Alienware Area-51m is powered by Intel’s 9th generation of Core i7 and Core i9 processors. For graphics, the laptop gets NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX cards. Both the CPU and GPU on the laptop are upgradeable. RAM goes up to maximum of 64GB. The Alienware TactX keyboard on it features 2.2mm of travel, per-key RGB LED lighting, n-key rollover and anti-ghosting technologies. Internal cooling is taken care of Alienware’s Cryo-Tech 2.0 platform. When launched, the new Alienware Area-51m will come in two colour options: Lunar Light and Dark Side of the Moon.

Alienware m15

According to Dell, the Alienware m15 is the thinnest and lightest 15-inch Alienware laptop, designed for gamers on the go. The laptop measures 19.9 millimetres in height and weighs 2.16 kilogrammes, which is 30 percent smaller and 38 percent lighter than the current 15-inch Alienware laptop. The Alienware m15 is powered by Intel’s 8th generation of Core i7 CPU and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 Max-Q graphics cards. The AlienFX keyboard on the Alienware m15 comes with customisable lighting across 6 different zones. Like the bigger Alienware Area-51m, the Alienware m15 employs Alienware’s Cryo-Tech 2.0 technology for cooling its insides. When launched, the new Alienware m15 will come in two colour options: Epic Silver and Nebula Red.

Dell G7 15

Dell’s G Series represents the company’s affordable gaming laptop range. The new Dell G7, which measures 19.9 millimetres in height, is powered by Intel’s 8th generation of Core series processors and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 20 series of graphics cards with 6GB of GDDR6 video memory. The display is a 15-inch IPS LCD unit with Full HD resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The laptop comes with dual drives with NVMe SSD options and two front-firing speakers tuned by Waves MaxxAudio Pro. When launched ,the new Dell G7 15 will come in a single colour option: Abyss Grey with blue accents.

Starting price of the Dell G7 15: Rs 1,57,399

The Alienware Area-51m, Alienware m15, and Dell G7 15 will be available in large-format retail stores including Reliance Digital, Croma, and other multi-brand stores across India from April 1.
