Acer has launched the world’s lightest 16-inch laptop christened Acer Swift Edge. The Swift Edge weighs 1.17 kg and ships with a 16” 4K OLED display, AMD Ryzen Pro processor, and WiFi 6e. Let’s check out its price, complete specifications, and other details.

Acer Swift Edge specs and features

The front of the Swift Edge is a 16-inch 4K OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage and has 500 nits of peak brightness. Acer claims the laptop is VESA DisplayHD True Black 500 and TUV Rheinland Eyesafe certified.

Inside, the Swift Edge is running on AMD Ryzen 7 6800U CPU, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. Acer underlines the protection offered by Microsoft Pluton security co-processor against cyberattacks. 

For connectivity, you are getting WiFi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, 1xUSB-C port, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 port with power-off charging, and 1x USB 3.2 port. The audio side is handled by Acer’s proprietary TNR (Temporal Noise Reduction) and the Acer Purified Voice with AI Noise Reduction.

A 54WHr battery keeps the lights on. To charge it, you have a 65W charger. The software is Windows 11 Home and for biometrics, there is a fingerprint scanner.
