Priced at Rs 36,999, the Note 17 Pro features a 6.83-inch display, a Snapdragon chipset and a massive 9,000 mAh battery. It goes up against the Vivo T5 and Oppo F33, both of which were launched earlier this year and come with a similar price point. The Redmi Note 17 Pro sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. For comparison, the Vivo T5 has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness. The Oppo F33 sports a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 17 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, and is backed by a 9,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. In contrast, the Vivo T5 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, and packs a 7,050 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The Oppo F33, on the other hand, equips the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, and packs a 7,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

For photography, the Redmi Note 17 Pro houses a dual camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP front camera.

For comparison, the Vivo T5 also features a dual rear camera with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, the T5 has a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. Meanwhile, the Oppo F33 houses a 50MP primary camera, along with a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16MP camera on the front.
