Xiaomi's 3rd Mi Anniversary sale begins with the launch of Mi Max 2 and discounts on Mi Home products and Mi accessories. The company is also offering Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 smartphones for Rs 1 via the flash sale.
Xiaomi's 3rd Mi Anniversary sale has begun on Mi.com and Mi Store app. The Chinese smartphone maker is celebrating three years since its entry into India with the launch of Redmi 1S. The 3rd Mi Anniversary sale is being held today and tomorrow. As part of the sale, Xiaomi is offering its newest smartphone, Mi Max 2 exclusively at 10 AM. The company is also offering its other three smartphones – Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 – via the flash sale. Other deals include Rs 1 flash sale where lucky customers can grab select Mi products for just 1 rupee.
Here are the top deals and sales from Xiaomi's 3rd Mi Anniversary Sale:
1. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 sale: Xiaomi Mi Max 2, the second generation phablet announced goes on its first sale in India today. The smartphone will be available starting 10 AM and at the time of writing, the smartphone appears to be out of stock. The handset was announced here on July 18 and will be available via open sale starting July 27 from all the major e-commerce and retail stores.
The Mi Max 2 sports a 6.44-inch Full HD display and is powered by power-efficient Snapdragon 625 SoC. The handset comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. It sports a 12MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera and offers a beefy 5300mAh battery. The handset runs MIUI 8.2 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will be upgraded to MIUI 9 as it becomes available on July 26. 2. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 sale: Xiaomi's best-selling Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 smartphones are also available via the flash sale at 12 noon today. Xiaomi claims to have sold over a million units of Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4 smartphones and its entry-level Redmi 4A has surpassed 2.5 lakh units sale. Xiaomi Redmi 4A is priced at Rs 5,999, Redmi 4 starts at Rs 6,999 while Redmi Note 4 is available at a starting price of Rs 9,999.
3. Xiaomi Redmi 4A Rs 1 sale: The highlight of Xiaomi's 3rd Mi Anniversary sale is the Rs 1 flash sale offering smartphones and other accessories. The first Rs 1 flash sale will offer Redmi 4A smartphone to 10 lucky customers at just Rs 1. The handset is the entry-level smartphone in Xiaomi's 2017 product lineup in India. It features a 5.-inch HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 425 processor.
The Redmi 4A comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via SD card slot. On the camera front, it gets a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP selfie shooter. The dual-SIM smartphone is backed by a 3120mAh battery and runs MIUI 8. The smartphone will be available in gold colour option.
4. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Rs 1 sale: Alongside Redmi 4A, Xiaomi is also offering the Redmi 4 smartphone with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage for Rs 1. The handset generally priced at Rs 6,999 will be available via Rs 1 flash sale at 1 PM. The company is offering 10 units of Redmi 4 during the sale.
To recall, Xiaomi Redmi 4 sports a 5-inch HD display and sports a rear fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 435 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. It features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The dual SIM smartphone runs MIUI 8 and is backed by a beefy 4100mAh battery.
5. Bid to Win deals: Xiaomi is offering Redmi 4A, Mi VR Play and 10000mAh Mi PowerBank 2 via bid to win sale at 2 PM. Under bid to win the deal, a user needs to bid the lowest and unique amount in order to win the product. Under Bid to Win deals, Xiaomi is offering Redmi 4 2GB RAM variant, WiFi Repeater and Mi Headphones Comfort at 4 PM and Redmi Note 4 2GB RAM variant, Air Purifier and Selfie Stick at 6 PM. At 8 PM, customers can bid to win Redmi 4 2GB RAM variant, Mi VR Play headset and Mi Router 3C.
6. Other deals and discounts: Xiaomi is also offering 25 units of its 10000mAh Mi PowerBank 2 and 15 units of WiFi Repeater 2 via Rs 1 flash sale at 11AM. At 1PM, the company is offering 25 units of its Mi VR Play headset and 15 units of Selfie Stick during Rs 1 flash sale.
Xiaomi is also offering discounts on its Mi Home devices and accessories during the 3rd Mi Anniversary sale. Xiaomi is offering Rs 200 discount on its Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD, which is now available for Rs 1,799. The Mi Capsule Earphone is now available at Rs 899 as opposed to its regular retail price of Rs 999. The over-ear Mi Headphones Comfort will retail for Rs 2,699 during the sale while Mi In-Ear Headphones Basic will be available at Rs 549. The company is also discounting the Mi VR Play headset to Rs 699 while Selfie Stick is priced at Rs 599. The Mi Air Purifier Bundle is being offered at Rs 10,998, a discount of Rs 1,500 on regular retail price. Xiaomi Mi WiFi Repeater 2 is priced at Rs 799 during the sale.
