India AI Impact Summit 2026: India is preparing to host the AI Impact Summit 2026 from February 16, and the impact is already visible in Delhi’s hotel prices. As the country is getting ready to welcome global leaders and industry experts, luxury hotels have sharply increased their room rates for the summit period. The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is touted as ‘one of the biggest AI summits in the global south.’ This four-day event will focus on responsible, inclusive and impact-driven artificial intelligence.

The summit is expected to see participation from more than 100 countries. Around 15 to 20 heads of government, over 50 ministers from different nations, and more than 40 CEOs of leading Indian and global companies are likely to attend.

Ahead of the summit, we checked the official websites of several luxury hotels in Delhi to compare room prices. The difference in rates during the summit dates and regular days is significant.

At The Leela Palace, New Delhi, we found that a one-night stay on February 17 for a ‘Run of the House’ room is priced at Rs 3,95,990. When we checked the same room for March 17, it was listed for Rs 54,990 per night.

A similar pattern was seen at Taj Palace, New Delhi. We checked the hotel’s website and found that a ‘Deluxe Room King Bed Diplomatic Enclave View’ room costs Rs 78,500 for the night of February 16. However, the same room for March 16 is available at a much lower price of around Rs 32,000 per night.

Andaz Delhi by Hyatt has also raised its prices. During our check, we found that a ‘1 King Bed with Runway View’ room on February 16 is listed at Rs 36,790. In comparison, the price for March 16 is Rs 19,000 per night.

These price increases show how major events can quickly drive up demand for premium accommodation. While the India AI Impact Summit 2026 is expected to enhance Delhi’s global standing and bring economic benefits, it also makes staying in the city far more expensive during the event period.
