Poco is all set to refresh its mid-range smartphone lineup in India with the launch of its upcoming Poco M8 Power. While the company has been tight-lipped about the device leaks, rumours have painted a clear picture of what the buyers can expect from the device. The smartphone is said to include a big 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 CPU and a giant 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Moreover, it’s also said to include a dual rear camera configuration and run on Android 16-based HyperOS 3. While the official launch is still some time away, the leaked pricing has given buyers an early idea of what to expect.

The Poco M8 Power is said to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 octa-core chipset under the hood. Rumours also suggest that the handset may also pair up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage with it.
In terms of display, the smartphone is anticipated to house a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with up to 120Hz of adaptive refresh rate. Aside from that, it’s also tipped that the display may reach a peak brightness of 1,800 nits when used outdoors and might get Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Leaks claim that the device would run on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 out of the box. The makers are also expected to provide four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

To keep the device running, the smartphone may sport a big 8,000mAh battery which might get 45W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging support. To please the photography enthusiast, the smartphone may house a dual-camera setup at the back, including a 50MP AI camera with a Light Fusion 400 sensor. For video calls and selfies the device is also said to carry an 8MP front sensor.
The microsite reveals that the device could land in Black, Blaze Orange, and Green colour options.

The Poco M8 Power will be landing on the Indian market on August 4, 2026. Interested buyers can buy the smartphone exclusively through Flipkart.

Poco M8 Power: Indian price (Leaked)
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the upcoming Poco M8 Power could be priced at around Rs 22,999 in India. In a post shared on his official X account, Yadav also claimed that the smartphone may be available with up to nine months of no-cost EMI.
Not only that, but he also suggested that Poco could introduce a special launch-day offer for customers purchasing the device within the first 12 hours of its sale. However, do note that the company has not officially confirmed these details.
