However, the company has not yet confirmed the release of the AI super agent. OpenAI has been discussing the super agent and details for a while now stating that the AI agent may be capable of performing a wide range of tasks, including writing code, booking a flight, researching a topic, and performing any other complex task that requires multiple actions.

On the other hand, companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google have introduced AI agents that are capable of performing specific tasks within certain limitations. OpenAI’s forthcoming AI agent can offer more than these offerings, the report added.

Previously, the company introduced a new feature called Tasks which allows users to schedule and execute tasks in the future. It also helps in setting reminders turning the chatbot into a personal assistant. This feature is currently in beta for Plus, Pro, and Team users and can be used for one-time or recurring tasks like reminders, daily briefings, and workouts. It will be introduced to the users in the coming weeks.
