Telecom provider MTNL has started a student deals section where discounts of up to 100% off can be availed for the students who have cleared their 10th and 12th board exams.
Students who have recently cleared their 10th and 12th board exams are in for a treat since MTNL has many special offers and deals on their landline, Internet, mobile and datacard connections. The deals cover a variety of services where students who have secured 80% and above get a 100% discount on installation charges for a landline connection, prepaid mobile connections where one gets a free FTU (top-up recharge) on buying a new mobile subscription (depending on how much they have scored, the FTU varies), and data card offers with discounts of up to 30% off on a new data card upon securing 80% and above. The discount can be availed by the students who have passed either their 10th or 12th examination in the year 2015. In addition to the CAF form, the students have to submit their marksheets as well. This offer can also be availed by the parents of students by submitting the marksheet and identification of the student. Parents can also submit the respective documents if the student is not eligible as per MTNL standards. These offers are valid for three education boards – SSC, ICSE and CBSE.
